Easter in Madrid 2026

From the 27th of March—Passion Friday—to the 5th of April, Madrid will be immersed in the spirit of Easter.

The 2026 diocesan Holy Week opening address will be delivered by Juan Manuel Venegas Valladares, former head of Los Estudiantes de Madrid brotherhood, at 8pm on Saturday 7 March at Almudena Cathedral.
The Madrid Municipal Symphonic Band will be giving a Holy Week concert on 19 March at Almudena Cathedral.

The full 2026 programme will be announced soon.
