Brothers, Sergio and Mario Tofe opened this small restaurant in the “Metals Neighbourhood” in Arganzuela in 2020. Thanks to its creative haute cuisine, it has won a Michelin Star in the 2026 edition of this prestigious guide. The restaurant, which is close to Plaza de Legazpi and Matadero Madrid, stands out for its minimalism, with various pieces of art by different artists covering its walls, and its spectacular stone crockery, made by the sculptor, Ignacio Zambrano. It has just 5 tables for around 20 diners. The background music plays a major role, varying at each stage of the meal.
Its gastronomic proposal is based on small producers and combines technique with restrained emotion, seeking its true cornerstone in the balance of flavours. Its cuisine is contemporary with Latin American influences (especially Mexico and Colombia). They have a Tasting Menu which varies according to the season: Ouros (from 15 October to 14 January), Thalate (from 15 January to 14 March), Thalo (from 15 March to 14 May), Auxo (from 15 May to 14 July) and Carpo (from 15 July to 14 October).
As for its wine list, the restaurant works with small producers focused on sustainability. Therefore, the list is dynamic and enables changes to be made.
Along with the Michelin Star awarded in November 2025, Éter has won various other awards throughout its history: Best New Restaurant at the METRÓPOLI Awards in 2021; nominated for Revelation Chef at Madrid Fusión in 2021; a Repsol Sun, which has been renewed since 2022; Michelin recommended restaurant since 2022; 164th Best Restaurant in Spain, according to the 2025 ranking of the prestigious Opinionated About Dining (OAD) Guide...
