Founded in 1935 by the Solís family, this restaurant specialisng in Valencian cuisine and its popular rice dishes is a classic in Madrid where a good Valencian paella can be savoured, along with other rice dishes, all of which are made with the finest ingredients, as well as the specialty, rice bomb, with its D.O. in Valencia.
La Barraca is in Chueca, very close to Gran Vía. The restaurant has retained its original décor. It has two dining rooms: the Mirror Room and the Tram, as well as two VIP Areas: the Queen’s Corner, which seats 9-11 diners, and the Patio, which seats 7-8 people. It also boasts a private dining room, the Cave, with capacity for around 40 people.
In addition to its rice dishes and noodles, the menu features several options to share, as well as fish, meat, and desserts.
