You can explore every period in Madrid’s history through its architecture and its connections thanks to this tourist company founded in 2018 by the Madrid architect Emilio Orduña that offers private and group guided tours led by architects. Tours are in Spanish or English.
Among his proposals are these routes:
- Gran Vía and its rooftops, a route from the urban, historical and architectural point of view, starting at the Circle of Fine Arts and ending at the third section of the Gran Vía, next to Plaza de España;
- Lavapiés and Rastro, visiting the Rastro, theatres, cafés, markets, restaurants, museums or residential buildings, as well as the Reina Sofía Museum and Doctor Fourquet Street and its galleries;
- Madrid Río and Casa de Campo, taking a bicycle ride from the Royal Palace to Matadero Madrid, passing through the Casa de Campo and such outstanding bridges as Toledo, Segovia or Dominique Perrault's metallic spiral.
- Architour through historic Madrid, from the Arabs to the Borbones, as well as the Habsburg. A journey through the origins of the city, from when the Arabs built the Alcazar to the end of the 9th century, including the Christian conquest or when Philip II established the capital in 1561. The city’s historic and monumental quarter will be visited on foot.
It also offers tailor-made tours designed for families, student groups or corporate events.
