Ivorypress

The luxury publishing firm founded by Elena Ochoa in 1996 has moved from Cuatro Caminos to Chamberí, specifically in the former premises of Galería Marlborough. At its new site, the firm continues to operate internationally in the world of contemporary art, in the areas of exhibition curation, exhibition space, specialist books, contemporary art consultancy, publishing projects, audiovisual production and education programmes.

After Galería Marlborough closed in 2024, its premises were bought by the Norman Foster Foundation which, together with the Ivorypress publishers and gallery, planned to use this space to promote and engage with culture, art and education. The foundation also took on the custody and protection of the archive of the Marlborough galleries in Spain, a valuable collection spanning over 30 years of history, including thousands of documents and part of their library.

Here you will discover rare books, limited editions, catalogues withdrawn from circulation and an unusual selection of photography, art, architecture and design books. The bookshop stocks works from all over the world, with a special emphasis on Asian countries and all of the Ivorypress publications.
