Yllana produces a theatre play that takes spectators to an imaginary death row in which absurd scenes and black humour constantly follow on from each other. It can be seen at the Gran Teatro Pavón from 13 April to 29 June, with performances on Mondays.
Using its well-known acidic humour, the Yllana artists offer a comic show that explores the darkest side of the human being through laughter. To do so, they take the audience inside a high security prison where four dangerous inmates are waiting to be executed.
It is a death row that has nothing to do with the famous film, The Green Mile, because here, sharing a cell, relations with the wardens and the outrageous executions turn the prison into a hell-hole of laughter.
