On 4 April 2026, the Palacio Vistalegre Arena is hosting a special concert with the musical essence of the films based on the works by J.R.R. Tolkien, taking spectators on an unforgettable journey through the rich and fantasy Middle-earth.
The evening features an orchestra, choir and guest stars, along with the distinctive voice of Sir Christopher Lee, who played Saruman in Peter Jackson's trilogy of films.
The recital covers a wide range of sound elements, ranging from the ominous echoes of Mordor and the terrifying attacks of the Black Riders to the beautiful and lyrical melodies of the Elves. Furthermore, a special guest from the original cast of the films and an actress or actor from Amazon's new series, The Rings of Power, will host the event, adding an authentic touch to this unique experience.
The recital transforms reality into a Middle-earth musical stage, bringing hobbits, dwarves, elves and orcs to life. Using the powerful sound of timpani and trumpets or delicate elvish melodies, the music performed by the orchestra and soloists evokes vivid images in the minds of the listeners, transporting them immediately to that universe of fantasy and adventure. This is an event that fans of The Lord of the Rings won’t want to miss for anything in the world.
