Teatro Amaya and L´Operamore Company will present the fifth edition of this festival from 11 March to 31 May 2026, with a special programme in which Zarzuela will be the main feature. With a live orchestra and vocals, this edition features four fascinating Zarzuela titles, culminating with the opera La Traviata, and an anthology by the name of Música, Maestra! Una vida de Zarzuela.
Following the resounding success of its previous edition, Teatro Amaya is once again hosting this year's festival, which has prepared a programme that includes the passionate drama, Luisa Fernanda, a masterpiece by the renowned composer, Federico Moreno Torroba; and the enchanting Doña Francisquita, one of the best loved zarzuelas by audiences, inspired by Lope de Vega's comedy La discreta enamorada.
The programme is rounded off with La Traviata, the most performed opera worldwide, which is based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas, The Lady of the Camellias. T
