The rail shuttle running directly from Madrid-Atocha station to Adolfo Su\u00e1rez Madrid-Barajas airport began operating in September. The direct rail link leaves every half an hour with only one stop at Chamart\u00edn station<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The link enables passengers to travel straight to the airport from the AVE arrivals area and from Atocha station Long Distance trains and the station’s local train (Cercan\u00edas) platforms, where they can now take the new direct train.<\/p>\n

The work includes installing a lift to save passengers coming from the AVE having to walk the entire length of the station to reach the local train platforms and catch the train to Barajas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
