{"id":1828,"date":"2017-02-10T11:14:35","date_gmt":"2017-02-10T11:14:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esmadrid.com\/mcb\/en\/?p=1828"},"modified":"2017-02-10T11:14:35","modified_gmt":"2017-02-10T11:14:35","slug":"madrid-new-airlines-routes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esmadrid.com\/mcb\/en\/news\/madrid-new-airlines-routes\/","title":{"rendered":"Madrid: new airlines routes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 18 January, at the Globalia stand at FITUR, the Vice President of Honduras, Ricardo \u00c1lvarez; Air Europa Chairman Juan Jos\u00e9 Hidalgo; and the Minister of Tourism for Honduras, Emilio Silvestri, presented the year\u2019s first tourism milestone, namely the new route to San Pedro Sula due to be operated by the airline once a week from late April.<\/p>\n<p>The inaugural flight will take off from Adolfo Su\u00e1rez Madrid-Barajas Airport on Thursday 27 April at 1.35am and land at Ram\u00f3n Villeda Morales International Airport at 4.40am local time. The return flight will leave Honduras on the same day, Thursday, at 10.25am and land in Madrid the following day at 5.15am.<\/p>\n<p>Juan Jos\u00e9 Hidalgo said he was very pleased that Honduras was joining the airline&#8217;s network of destinations on the American continent, where Air Europa already flies to and from nineteen locations, earning itself a reputation as the leading airline operating between the two continents.<\/p>\n<p>The flight to San Pedro Sula will be operated with an Airbus 330-200 with capacity for 299 passengers, 25 of whom will travel in Business Class.<\/p>\n<p>With this new route, there are already seven new destinations with which Madrid has opened direct connection in the recent months: Honduras, in June opened the direct line to Shanghai and Hong Kong, in August to Johannesburg, in October began the operations of the direct flight Madrid-Tokyo and to Hangzhou and in December was incorporated the new direct route Madrid-Delhi.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 18 January, at the Globalia stand at FITUR, the Vice President of Honduras, Ricardo \u00c1lvarez; Air Europa Chairman Juan Jos\u00e9 Hidalgo; and the Minister of Tourism for Honduras, Emilio Silvestri, presented the year\u2019s first tourism milestone, namely the new route to San Pedro Sula due to be operated by the airline once a week [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":1829,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1828","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
