For ten days during November, the spotlight will be on Madrid\u2019s hotels with an endless array of cultural and leisure activities for all audiences and sector professionals during the 1st Madrid Hotel Week, an initiative that intends to break away from the sector\u2019s traditional image.<\/p>\n
The event\u2019s organisers, the Asociaci\u00f3n Empresarial Hotelera de Madrid (AEHM – Hotel Business Association of Madrid) presented the 1st Madrid Hotel Week last July, a pioneering sector microevent set to take place in November in Madrid with the intention of breaking free from the general concept and traditional image of hotels through a series of avant-garde activities and experiences.<\/p>\n
The event offers a jam-packed programme of activities aimed at all audiences and sector professionals.\u00a0 Taking as a starting point the hotel as \u201ca welcoming establishment\u201d, this programme is being developed to \u201ccontribute towards positioning hotels in Madrid as generators of experiences and content, converting itself into a nerve centre for national and international visitors and city dwellers\u201d.<\/p>\n
Among other activities at Madrid Hotel Week <\/strong>there will be top chefs from some of the hotels\u2019 restaurants, exhibitions, themed tours, live music, meetings with design and architectural professionals, experiences in wellness centres, children\u2019s workshops\u2026 and a large number of initiatives aimed at the general public and professionals alike.<\/p>\n The activities will be themed around architecture, gastronomy, health, design, technology, art, music, sport, literature, the stage and shopping and will take place at 25 hotels in Madrid, from the 3rd to the 12th of November.<\/p>\n The Madrid Hotel Week<\/strong> programme will be based on two main themes: the hotel as a professional space and the hotel as a place for leisure. There will also be a specially created range of children\u2019s activities.
