The legendary British-Australian hard rock band will be performing on 12 and 16 July 2025 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium as part of its latest Power Up Tour 2025, which is named after its latest album, Power Up. The Pretty Reckless from the USA will be the support group at this concert.
Founded in 1973 in Australia by the Scottish brothers, Malcolm Young and Angus Young and Dave Evans as the vocalist, AC/DC has had a long and successful career during which it has sold around 200 million albums. The group has toured the world, its hits have featured in several film productions and its live performances stand out for their vibrant, exhilarating, world-class shows.
The flamboyant style of the lead guitarist and visual symbol, Angus Young, undoubtedly stands out, assuming the role of lead guitarist during concerts, offering dynamic performances full of adrenaline dressed as a street schoolboy.
Back In Black (1980) is the best selling album by any band and the third best selling album by any artist with global sales amounting to 50 million. The multi-million album, Highway to Hell (1979) is, one of the most iconic albums in hard rock history and includes great tracks like Highway to Hell, Touch Too Much, Walk All Over You, Shot Down in Flames and the dark blues Night Prowler. The band was included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® in 2003 and still continues to sell out stadiums and sell millions of albums each year.
To honour its legacy spanning more than 50 years, AC/DC is returning to Madrid featuring Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and Chris Chaney on bass. The support group will be The Pretty Reckless, the American hard rock band from New York, fronted by the vocalist and actress, Taylor Momsen.
